Hazelwood Energy Hub is a master planned regional energy hub located in Louisiana’s Energy Coast. Overlaying a 340-acre proven salt dome, HEH is developing four storage caverns for crude oil using the most up-to-date, safe and environmentally sensitive techniques.

Hazelwood Energy Hub will be connected to refiners, producers and processors throughout the Energy Coast and North America by barge, rail, and pipelines. HEH has electrical and transmission infrastructure, telecommunications access, abundant fresh water and pipeline access for export shipments.

Hazelwood Energy Hub is located on the Port Barre Salt Dome, which has a record of safe and secure storage activities beginning in 1955 and is now home to a 29 bcf natural gas storage facility that is owned and operated by one of North America’s leading midstream companies. With proven, safe salt caverns and experienced leadership, HEH is an ideal location for energy development.
